Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. El-Saeed Abdel Hadi, University President; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Community Outreach and Environmental Development; and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahim El-Shahat, Vice President for International Cooperation and Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef El-Nagdy, Vice Dean for Community Outreach and Environmental Development; and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Khaleq, Director of the Entrepreneurship Center at Horus University — a group of children affiliated with the Child University Program, part of the Entrepreneurship Center, visited the Dental Clinics at Horus University on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
The children were welcomed at the clinics by Dr. Ahmed Safaa Waly, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and Dr. Noha Taher, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Conservative Dentistry. The children toured all clinical departments of the dental clinics to encourage them to consider joining the Faculty of Dentistry at Horus University in the near future.
During the visit, the attending doctors trained the children in proper oral and dental hygiene practices, including the correct way to use a toothbrush and toothpaste as a preventive measure against oral and gum diseases.
