Believing in its vital role in motivating students and encouraging excellence and success, and with the desire to share their achievements, the Faculty of Dentistry at Horus University organized the graduation ceremony for the fifth batch of dentistry students for the academic year 2024/2025. The event took place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, on campus
The ceremony featured a recorded speech by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees. Attendees included Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Shenawy, Mr. Abdel Aziz El-Gendy, Prof. Dr. Adel Deif, members of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. El-Said Abdel Hady, University President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Community Outreach and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Dabaoun, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Magda Nassar, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahim El-Shahet, Vice President for International Agreements and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry. Distinguished guests included governors and former governors of several Egyptian governorates, as well as Dr. Shaimaa El-Sadeq, Deputy Governor of Damietta, Dr. Ahmed El-Adl, Deputy Governor of Dakahlia, Prof. Dr. Hamdan Rabie, President of Damietta University, and Dr. Tarek El-Zaki, Head of the Dentists Syndicate in Damietta. The event was also attended by numerous deans, faculty members, and a large number of graduates’ families. The ceremony began with the graduates’ entrance procession, followed by recorded congratulatory messages from university leaders, wishing graduates continued success and emphasizing that this celebration crowns years of hard work in both theoretical and practical studies. They highlighted the importance of perseverance and dedication in the next stage of life, noting that today’s competition is among minds rather than resources, and expressed hopes for a prosperous professional future that contributes to advancing Egypt’s medical system
Speakers congratulated all students on their remarkable achievements and reminded them that the new phase requires patience and sustained effort to reach the highest positions. They also extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to parents for their unwavering support, which enabled their children to achieve outstanding success. The event featured a video presentation on the history of Horus University. On the sidelines of the celebration, the acting university president and the dean awarded excellence shields to the top graduates, wishing them success in their careers.
